Add a watermark to photos in bulk — free and private

If you publish photos, a watermark says 'this is mine'. The Image Watermark tool stamps text or a logo across your pictures — tiled, centered, or in a corner — and you can do several at once. It all happens in your browser.

Text or logo?

Text watermarks are fastest: type your name, @handle, or copyright line. Logo watermarks use an image (PNG with transparency works best) so your mark keeps its shape. Both can be sized, faded, and angled.

Position and strength

Tiled (repeated across the whole image) is hardest to crop out and good for proofing. A single centered or corner mark is subtler. Use the opacity slider so the watermark is visible but doesn't bury the photo — 25-40% is a common sweet spot.

Rotation lets you slant the mark diagonally, which looks more intentional and is harder to remove in a hurry.

Bulk, but local

You can add the same watermark to several photos in one pass. Each is processed on your device; the files are never uploaded, which matters when the photos are unpublished or client work.

Try the free tool: Image Watermark — open it free, no sign-up.

Frequently asked questions

Can I watermark multiple photos at once?

Yes. Add several images and the same watermark settings apply to each; you download them individually or as a set, all processed locally.

Will the watermark ruin the photo?

Only if it's too strong. Keep opacity around 25-40% and a corner or tiled placement so the image stays usable.

Can I use my own logo?

Yes. Upload a logo image (a transparent PNG is ideal) and it's stamped instead of, or alongside, text.

Is it private?

Yes. Watermarking runs in your browser; photos are never uploaded.
