Extract the words from a PDF into plain text. Copy a quote, or send the text on to another tool — all in your browser.
Works on text-based PDFs. Scanned (image-only) PDFs have no text layer, so nothing will be extracted — use PDF to JPG for those.
You want the paragraph, not the whole 40-page PDF. This pulls the actual text out so you can copy a quote, search it, or paste it somewhere else. No re-typing.
It reads the text layer inside the PDF, so it's near-instant and stays on your device. One catch: if the PDF is just a scan (a photo of paper), there's no text to grab — for those, use PDF to JPG first. Anyway, drop it in. ☕
Add a PDF, click Extract text, and the plain-text result downloads as extracted.txt.
