About this tool
Most "free" background removers upload your photo to a server to process it — which means your picture, and whatever is in it, travels across the internet and into someone else's storage. This tool does the opposite. It runs a small AI segmentation model directly inside your browser, so the image is read, cut out and re-exported on your own device. Close the tab and the photo is gone; we never see it, and there is no account, no queue and no watermark.
It is ideal for product shots, profile pictures, marketplace listings and quick memes: drop in a photo, get a clean transparent PNG, and drop it onto any background. If you need a flat file, the one-click JPG export puts it on a white background for you. Because the model lives in your browser, processing is private by design and there is no monthly limit to worry about.
How to use
Click the box (or drag an image onto it) to load a photo. The first time, the AI model downloads and you'll see a progress bar. When it finishes, the cut-out appears on the right — use Download PNG for a transparent file or Download JPG for a white-background version. Optional: in "Step 2" drop a background image, then drag the cut-out to reposition it and use the size slider to resize (Flip / Center / Fit-width helpers are there too). When it looks right, download the finished composite as a merged PNG or JPG. Skip Step 2 to keep just the transparent cut-out. Use Remove another to start over.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser using an in-browser AI model. Your image is processed on your own device and never leaves it — nothing is uploaded to any server.
What file format do I get?
You get a transparent PNG with the background removed, ready to drop onto any design. There is also a one-click option to export a white-background JPG if you need a flat file.
How accurate is the cut-out?
It uses a semantic segmentation model (ISNet) that handles hair, fur and soft edges well for most photos. Very busy or low-contrast backgrounds may need a touch-up in an editor, but for product shots and portraits it is usually spot on.

Can I put my cut-out onto a new background?
Yes — after the background is removed, an optional "Step 2" lets you drop in any background image. Your cut-out is placed on top of it and you can drag it to reposition and resize it with a slider, all in your browser. When it looks right, download the finished composite as a PNG or JPG. If you skip this step, you simply download the transparent cut-out directly.
Do I need to install anything or create an account?
No. It is a single web page — open it, drop in a photo, and download the result. There is no software to install and no account to register.
