Paste text and encode it for a URL, or paste an encoded string and decode it back. Switch modes with one click — handy for query strings and Chinese characters.
You build a link with a space or a Chinese word in it and the browser chokes. URLs can't hold most characters raw — they need percent-encoding (that %20, %E6%.. stuff). This tool does the encoding and the decoding so a link you copy actually works.
Switch to Decode to read what an encoded parameter really says. UTF-8 is handled, so non-English text round-trips correctly.
Pick Encode or Decode, paste your text, and the result appears live. Encode turns spaces and symbols into safe %-codes; decode turns them back.
